Ken Taylor and Bruce Vaughn are organizing a long day hike in the mountains on Tuesday, September 30. If you are interested in joining them on the hike, please send Bruce an email (bruce.vaughn "at" colorado.edu).
Agenda
The meeting agenda will be circulated in September. Once we receive abstracts, we will group the talks into focus areas for presentation. Please plan on 15 minutes for talks. We will have more requests for talks than available time, so if a project requests more than one talk you might be requested to convert one of your talks to a poster.
Abstract Submission
Expanded abstracts and poster summaries will be provided at the meeting. In order for your abstract/ poster summary to be included in the handout, all abstracts and poster summaries must be emailed to Mark Twickler by Monday, September 15, 2008. Mark's email address is: mark.twickler "at" unh.edu . Abstracts and poster summaries received after September 15 will not be included in the meeting handout. There is a spot on the online registration form (see Registration below) to indicate if you intend on giving a talk and/or presenting a poster. We will have more requests for talks than available time, so if a project requests more than one talk you might be requested to convert one of your talks to a poster.
Abstracts
For those people giving talks, please email the expanded abstract (2-page maximum, including figures) to Mark Twickler. Text must be in Microsoft Word format. Only figures in Word, JPEG, GIF, PDF, or TIFF format will be accepted.
Posters
People who are presenting posters have two options:
1. Email the poster abstract and relevant figures (2-page maximum, including figures) to Mark Twickler. Text must be in Microsoft Word format. Only figures in Word, JPEG, GIF, PDF, or TIFF format will be accepted.
2. Reduce your poster down onto one 8.5” x 11” piece of paper and email it to Mark. Only PDF, JPEG, GIF, PPT, and Word formats will be accepted
Posters at the meeting must be 36" x 60" or smaller. Posters will be posted on the walls of the conference room. We will supply the materials needed to post the posters. All you need to bring is your poster.
